Hi All, and Happy New Year to all! Hope 2019 is a good year for everyone. I started making this map when I saw there was still some interest in the AMC contest on UT99.org I did not start it until 11-29 so the 12-10 deadline was UNREAL (see what i did there). Anyway I based it off a few of the stock maps, so game play is familiar but nothing special. Still overall it seems okay and might be fun with enough real people playing. It is a stock DM map, Ideal players 6-12 but can handle 16. It has the normal bsp and bot play problems most maps have, but is still playable, biggest problem I see is the lighting, but I am almost blind anyway so I play off instinct mostly. After I get some feed back I will set it up for downloading somewhere. If anyone wants to test it out and give me any opinions please message me, Thanks.

So I did some testing online today, and I am not happy with the teleporters, it really bothers me that they do not work online the same as offline.
Offline they seem to work perfectly but online it puts you in wrong direction. Tried changing direction of arrow but it still is wrong online.
Has anyone figured this problem out? can a change to the network setting of the tele fix it?
Anyway guess I will keep messing with it and see, if not it is what it is I guess.

Niiiiice! I can drop it on my BAttle Server and see how it operates there. My server is pretty stock when it comes down to mods and stuff so I suspect it will run fine there.
EDIT: This Map is now on the U01 Battle Server

Thanks Sir Mandrake, I just tried it out on your server, very nice server, ran real smooth.
I have a problem with my mouse almost every time I try playing UT. Win 10 don't seem to work good with either UT or an older mouse think I might have to try a newer one and see if it helps.
I know the map has some problems, but it was playing fine(except for my mouse).
Thanks again, I put the sever in my favs list.

Ahoy Mr Real! Happy to hear the map performed well for you. I haven’t had the chance to play it yet but I will and give you my thoughts on it. The pictures included in the zip just makes me want to try it out ASAP lol
as for the mouse, how is it acting up? Lagging, calibration, freezing up? If it’s an older mouse and wireless that may be the issue. I’ve had blue tooth mice act up on me and to resolve it I moved the usb transceiver to a generic port usb 2 port, not a high speed usb3.0 port or a port on a third party adapter.
Another thing to check is make sure windows isnt trying to apply any power saving tactics on the Bluetooth or the USB port, and if your antivirus program has a gaming mode , turn that on. It prevents the antivirus on access scanner from kicking in and scanning game files as they load.
Also try an old wired mouse to see if it works any better. I use a Logitech wireless mouse at work and a Razor Naga at home to play UT on windows 10 and everything works good.
Hope that hat helps resolve the mouse issue .

Thanks for the info, it is an older wired inteli mouse. My problem is it seems like it is being disconnected and reconnecting and I end up with two pointers, also it will sometimes double the mouse speed and other times cut it in half and make it super slow. I would think the disconnect reconnect thing was a bad connection in the wire, but strange thing is it never does it any other time, only when I play UT. I guess I will try a different mouse and see what happens.
As for the map, I think it is okay, it does have some issues and the lighting can be dark in spots, bots play okay but get stuck now and then. Overall it feels like playing a stock map once you get used to it. I think it could be fun with enough real people playing. Any feedback good or bad is always welcome.
All the Artwork hanging on the walls was made by me back in 2000-2001 with Bryce 3d (each picture is for sale for $1,000,000) if interested LOL.

It sounds like that old mouse is either dirty or worn out. (to me anyway)

The disconnect reconnect might point to a bad cable but if it only acts up while playing UT then it might be USB port related or driver. I don’t know if Microsoft still has intellimouse software suite available for download or if it’s all integrated with windows 10 now. I would make sure you are running latest motherboard drivers so you are running the latest drivers for usb
