MapVoteLA13 / MapVote - FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)For our first...An easy one that I can answer for sure! Do NOT use any wild cards!List the maps with their Full Names. Without a wild card, MapVoteLA13 will only do Exact Matches to map names. MapVote will only load those maps named and no others! Example...List3Filter[0]=1v1DM-* <-(NOT like this) List3Filter[1]=1v1DM-DeathValleyUtah List3Filter[2]=1v1DM-ManorFarm List3Filter[3]=1v1DM-TigerHunt][etc.

You are getting the "prefix" and the "wild card" part mixed up here I think. For these "10 to 20" maps you want, for say a 1v1 game in a column in MapVoteLA13, you will need to set up a Separate Custom Game Configuration line, say using a map name "prefix" of "1v1" in this example. The wild card is the " *" (asterisk) part of the map list - Only ... List3Filter[0]=1v1DM-* <-(Here) As I said above. Set up a Separate Custom Game Configuration line, say using a map name "prefix" of "1v1", then list the maps you want (without the * wild card) using the map's Full names. Add in any mutators, mods and settings you wish for this game type in this Separate Custom Game Configuration line for 1v1. Then, Only those maps listed will be loaded into and show up in the column you select to have this particular game of 1v1 in.

Hello Ferndale - you came to the right place! How many maps are we talking about here. Maybe First - read up here... (MapVote Explained) hooksutplace.freeforums.net/thread/8/mapvotela13-mapvotelav2-mapvote-explainedThen, if you still need help, I will be glad to custom help your situation. I could even set up your MapVote ini for you if you wish. This is fairly easy to do, and I am well versed in doing this sort of thing and I have done this many, many times. Basically, you will probably need to set up a Custom Game Configuration line in the ini something like the following... (I used the prefix "dfDM" or "df" for DeFault) CustomGameConfig[0]=(bEnabled=True,GameClass="Botpack.DeathMatchPlus",NewPrefix="dfDM",Mutators="",Settings="")Then in the listing in the Column 3 area, list the maps you wish to load BY NAME there - like... List3Filter[0]=dfDM-Agony List3Filter[1]=dfDM-Barricade List3Filter[2]=dfDM-Codex List3Filter[3]=dfDM-Deck16][ List3Filter[4]=dfDM-Etc List3Filter[5]=dfDM-EtcWhen listing, use the full name of the map as it appears in you map folder and it will only list those maps. You can only list up to 48 maps though. You can use wild cards but you have to be careful how you list these so as not to get any maps that you do not desire listed there. Remember - you do NOT change the actual map names in your UT map folder - just leave them AS IS. Some people think you need to do that, but you do not. Any questions - just let me know. I LOVE to help!

Go to: [Engine.GameInfo]set your password ... AdminPassword=testStart the server. Join the server in LAN list UT. Open the console. Type: adminlogin test Open the mapvote console in-game. Click on the tab: admin mapvote Edited for Clarity
