So after making over 100 maps for UT2004 I thought it might be cool to make a map for UT99. Holy cow, what a headache. Glitchy, buggy, slow and stubborn are words that come to mind. I had a heck of a time importing textures. Even after watching a tutorial I still couldn't get things to happen for me. I know textures need to be indexed color mode and 8 bit. What else can I do to get them to work. Then the further you get the more glitchy it becomes. Dunno if i can do this. My first map in UT2004 took me 10 minutes. This map is gonna take all week. I have texture folders on my drive and I can import a whole folder at one time in seconds in Unreal Ed 3.0. It took me all night to import 1 poor quality texture in 2.0, ouch! See my animation below?? That is a map I made in 2 days.

You can make maps for UT2004, yet you spit on the UED2.0 editor??? Shame on you! UED2.0 is the mother and father of all good things that brought you this great HUTP and lots of other UT99communities. IT IS YOUR ANCESTOR. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
20 STRIKES ON YOURRR BACK PIRATE. Forrrr thiz mostly bitterly saltz insult. After that, you must lick this toxic snail at least 5 times!
Yeah the editor is buggy sometimes, but it is for the die hards! SHOO SHOO if you can't handle a explosive , manly, unpredictable editor ( joke )
Sail on, or we be keeping you on that island other there!
= Terraniux =Mappers Group Lead No worries, pirates always win..... The only problem is sharing the same island.
