SERVER ADMINs ...
UPDATE Your Master Servers: UT SERVER ADMINS
NOTE: This Post is a Work in Progress and is Preliminary - It may have errors, but will be edited to correct!
This Post Last Updated: 6/12/2014
As admin, to add your server in the 333Networks MasterServer list, open UnrealTournament.ini in your UT's System folder.
Find the following lines in the [Engine.GameEngine] section.
The line for the 333networks MasterServer can be added to the already existing MasterServer addresses.
I would suggest adding 333Networks in place of master0.gamespy.com!
FYI: Linux Servers should be 3 maximum Master Servers.
The result should look like this.
NOTE: Telefragged (shown) and Qtracker (not shown) are uplink only, and you use a client. (Clients "players" will need extra software for them to work)
They are NOT recommended for most UT servers. :tongue2:
Also, master0.gamespy.com is Shutting Down by the End of May, 2014, so it will be Gone altogether.
So Leave those 3 Out! - Or at least leave out master0.gamespy.com.
Perhaps a good way to deal with which master servers to choose for Linux servers anyway, is to pick the closest 3 to your servers location.
(Windows based servers can use more than 3 masters)
If your server has a fast connection, choose the Best 3 master servers. (most popular)
If you visit Oldunreal, you can always see the main list and status there.
NOTE: Having the Fallback mode disabled in the UnrealTournament.ini file, makes it connect to ALL of them so it doesn't matter what order they are.
CURRENT UT MASTER SERVERS / UPDATE Your UT Master Servers ...
These 6 Master Servers are ALL 2-way ... (2-way is Best, or most desirable)
We Recommend these Master Servers for all UT server admins to use as they are ALL Tried and True and Reliable, and work well.
(These Masters below are NOT in any particular order)
master.333networks.com <-(Europe)
noccer.333networks.com <-(Europe)
tempest.333networks.com <-(United States)
master.oldunreal.com <-(Europe?)
master.errorist.tk <-(Europe)
and Now of course:
unreal.epicgames.com and/or utmaster.epicgames.com <-(United States)
(either of the Epic master servers work the same and are the same)

For those that are not up to date yet, I thought I would update the situation.
Epic has changed the old tracker and enabled both old URLs with a master server that now downloads a list to clients (players).
Unfortunately, they are not serving a list for Unreal, and are both hosted on the same machine
You should already have 1 or the other of these in your UT ini (or Xbrowser.ini) for up and down-links.
(either works the same)
unreal.epicgames.com
utmaster.epicgames.com
It is still worth leaving master0.gamespy.com in your config [until GameSpy shuts down], as Epic is not showing as many servers.
Some people seem to be having a problem up-linking, and probably some people have removed it manually in the past, and locked it from updating masters.
333Networks is still the optimal master server with a faster listing of more servers, up-to-date cheat-protection, and you can also pick the closest one, or add them all.
There are now 4+* 333Networks masters online and they are healthy and able to support Unreal, UT, Deus Ex, Rune, Postal 2 and many more.
1) master.333networks.com
2) noccer.333networks.com
3) master.oldunreal.com
4) master.errorist.tk
* 5) master2.oldunreal.com is currently evaluating 333 and it will be updated *
Smirftsch over at OldUnreal has included a master-monitor at the top of the site, so you can easily check master status at an time.

At the moment I would recommend picking 1 of the Epic masters, the GameSpy master[until GameSpy shuts down], and 1 or more of the closest 333networks multimasters.
That way you have a bomb-proof service [for your Server and your Player install].
All users [server admins] should have no less than 3 [master servers].
You can use them all if you like, but Linux users are limited to 3.
Note, you may want to also edit the "Defaults.ini" to contain your favourite master servers.
