UT99 Cache file Maintenance and Automatic Purging INFO ... Just an FYI here...You can Set how long your cache keeps files. These are the files that you do not have, that your UT99 installation Downloads from servers, and are needed to play certain maps and mods, etc. In your UnrealTournament.ini file - open it (use notepad or any other good text editor) Then find this section near the top... [Core.System] PurgeCacheDays=30 <- here (it is set to 30 days by default - 999 days is the maximum timed setting in days) Of course you can set it to 0 PurgeCacheDays=0 Which holds your cache files you download indefinitely. Set it to how many days you want to keep these files - or choose the "0" setting. Then, when you are done, Save and Close your UnrealTournament.ini file. Now, your Cache will Automatically Purge (clear) itself at the amount of days you set it to do so - or not at all if set to 0. Note: You will still need to delete your "tmp" temporary files in your UT/System folder though, from time to time. Those "tmp" files are not governed by the cache purging.
